Arlington Woman's Club
Open Hearts, Busy Hands
YOU Make a Difference
My, how time flies. This first year has gone by much too fast. It has been a wonderful year, and I feel so much more comfortable leading this incredible group of women.
I have made so many new friends and now feel that I know nearly everyone at the club. I hope I have met your needs and have been there whenever you needed someone to listen, celebrate, encourage or simply help solve a problem.
It is my privilege to serve the members of Arlington Woman’s Club.
We are entering a year of rebuilding and looking toward the future. Together we will welcome new members, make AWC even more visible in our community, and proudly tell others about the wonderful work we do.
As I begin my second year as your President, I have many hopes and dreams for our club. Our theme, "Open Hearts, Busy Hands...You make a Difference", reminds us that caring hearts naturally lead to helping hands. When we choose kindness, encouragement, compassion, and friendship, our hands find countless ways to serve. They stuff bags, serve on committees, bake cookies, welcome new members, reach out to a friend, offer a hug, extend a handshake, and brighten someone’s day with a smile. Those simple acts of caring become extraordinary gifts that strengthen not only the person receiving them, but our entire organization.
My hope for the coming year is that every member feels valued, welcomed, and inspired to become involved in whatever ways brings them joy. Each of us has unique talents to share, and together those gifts make the Arlington Woman’s Club stronger than ever. Thank you for allowing me the honor of serving as your President. I look forward to another year of friendship, service, laughter and making a difference ---together.
This organization has given me far more than I could ever give back, and
I am grateful every day to walk beside such remarkable women.
